Job Description:
Purpose
To supervisr all grease manufacturing and filling activities in a 3 shift (5 days/24 hours) environment
Dimensions
Size of the team: manages 20 staff and reporting to LSC Production Manager
Principle Accountabilities
Related to Grease operations:
• To produce greases according to the Grease Quality System and other Quality and Environmental Management Systems and HSSE requirements. (c)
• Primary responsible person for operations during all shifts, operational prioritization, trouble-shooting, decision making for any changes to routine in contact with Production Manager where necessary. (c)
• Support production manager in managing overall activities (preventive maintenance coordination, training, document revision, capex follow-up, development of continuous improvement projects etc.)
• Minimise product-working losses (write offs / downgraded product / flushing oils) & achieve targeted level of RFT (right first time) in manufacturing as well as OTIF (On Time in Full). (c)
• Coordination & communication between production, filling and laboratory to reduce overall cycle time.
• To develop, motivate and recognise own team to create world-class professionals with a winning team spirit.
• To stop the production if there is a quality problem in the plant. (c)
Ensure grease Filling is carried out in accordance with roles described in GSAP/Streamline.
• Ensure grease Filling Line operation is performed in accordance with the Production Plan (as set by the Production Planner) and consistent with HSSE rules and regulations. (c)
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure Filling and Associated Equipment availability is maximized.
• Coach, train and lead grease Filling Team in Filling Operations.
• Authority to stop production to correct quality problems. (c)
• Coordinate packaging materials supply and follow up all packaging quality issues
Follow up all issues in PRRQuest // Dashboard (intellaquest.com) for any packaging material for lub products
• Attend and support to fillin supervisor for BPR meetings
• Support the maintenance investment team for CAPEX project implementations.
• Fully compliant with ISO9001 Management Quality system, ISO27001 Information security management systems, IATF 16949 International Automotive Task Force , TS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 10002 Complaint Handling and Customer Satisfaction Quality Management Systems, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems standards/procedures/work instructions
• Act as a focal point for Confined Space Entry (CSE) and and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
• Ensure that all Confined Space Entry and Lock Out Tag Out activities are perfomed according to procedures. Update all the visuals related with CSE and LOTO
Related to HSSE: (c)
• Implement the HSSE Plans, Policies, Standards and Procedures according to the HSSE-MS.
• Ensure risks of HSSE related activities are reduced to ALARP.
• Ensure assets are safe guarded and controls are in place for people to operate safely.
• Provide adequate training for staff to develop competence.
• Ensure compliance to HSSE–MS.
• Promote HSE Golden Rules.

Key/Special Challenges
• How to minimize product working losses (off-spec products & flushing oils) while delivering a product portfolio that is continuously getting more complex (increasing # of formulations)
• How to manage 3 shift plant operations efficiently delivering full capacity yield with a relatively young and inexperienced team.
• How to stay integrated, fully on board within the overall LSC team mostly working in 1 shift environment while working on 3 shift basis with working hours rotating weekly
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required Experience Qualification
Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with good command of English or associate technician degree in University.
