From 2018 to 2022, We boosted number of premium stores (Select shops) from around 200 to 800 which are mostly operated by Shell retail dealers. In Selects we have strong deli2go range, supply chain, coffee, bakery, and sandwich offer. Convenience Retail Operations Advisor was one of the key enablers because of increasing importance of operation and customer excellence in CR business.

Sorumluluklar

Accountabilities

  • S/he will be coordinating the suppliers’ field operations with our field team as single point of communication for more than 50 suppliers and field staff to deliver the best customer experience & service.
  • Moreover, S/he will be responsible for supporting & coaching the field team to achieve best in class operations & execution standards in Select shops and deli2go products by enabling optimum placement and maximum availability.

Support & Coach the field team for Best-in class Operations & Execution Quality in the field,

  • Support & Coach field team to ensure Food Safety Standards are implemented in shops with the right direction such as coffee machine cleaning and maintenance & bakery baking programme.
  • Support & Coach field team to ensure the right placement is executed for active sales, promotions, and other customer-oriented activities.
  • Support & Coach field team to ensure the right implementation of planogram to the Select Shops (eg: entrance gondola chillers, beverage chillers, etc.) for creating maximum value both for Dealers & Shell.
  • Responsible for gathering related inputs from field teams for best operational excellence (eg: forecast of cold sandwiches/hot sandwiches for better production planning)
  • Support & Coach field teams in seasonal changes & peak times such as high season holidays or feasts.
  • Support & Coach field team for the bakery and Hot Sandwiches operations, acting as an advisory and trainer role for baking programmes and operational details.

Coordination of Supplier Field Operations with Sales & Ops Teams,

  • As a single point of contact with the field team, S/he will be coordinating the execution in Select shops with suppliers’ field staff such as supplier regular promotions, meal offers, active sales promotions, coffee activities vs…
  • Be an active advisor for the execution of field sales improvement activities such as daily/weekly/monthly local active sales activities
  • Be a single point of contact for ROTA (field team task assignment system) in Convenience Retail team, coordinating and following CR related tasks and outcome.
  • Actively being present in the field, making regular site visits to Select shops.

Improve Supply Chain Penetration and Support & Coach the field team & dealers for ordering systems,

  • S/he will be responsible for improving CR Supply Chain purchasing penetration of Dealer Operated (DO) Select shops with an aspiration of reaching to %100 footprint in DO network

  • Operations Experience in Retail/FMCG
  • Experience in Food Safety
  • Hands-on way of doing business
  • Flexibility based on seasonal peeks

  • Extensive Analytics Capability
  • Aware trends, keen to learn on new technologies
  • Having Commercial Approach with quantitative thinking
  • Advanced MS Excel & power point skills

  • Understanding of pricing indexing & margin calculation
  • Experience in working in a fast-changing environment with uncertainty (i.e.: FMCG)

  • Sales experience is a plus
