JOB DESCRIPTION
Hold official responsibility of Environmental Engineer at Akçansa Plants (Cement, RMC, AGG, Ports) when required
Follow-up and reporting of environmental KPI’s of the plants
Develop projects for environmental efficiency at plants
Follow-up best practices all industries, coordinate/support the implementation of them
Conducting environmental trainings
Involving in ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, bringing in and taking part in improvement projects
Managing the communications with Environmental Ministry of Environment and Local Environmental Authority by frequent/regular visits
Follow-up national and EU legislations, preparing company assessments for legislation drafts, reporting impacts of legislation changes risks/opportunities for company

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering
Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar position
Having cement, iron-steel, glass or similar industry experience is an asset
Good knowledge of environmental legislation and environmental technologies
Good communication and persuasion skills
Good interpersonal skills, ability to work co-operatively in a multidisciplinary environment
High learning agility, analytical skills, high persistence
Being mobile to travel all Akçansa plants and facilities in Turkey when required
Advanced level of English (both in written and in spoken English)
Having driver licence (B class) and active driving skills
