What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Project Engineer – Sustainability & Environment who will join our team at the Sustainability & HSE CoE.

• Ensuring that all environmental activities are fulfilled and followed up in order to comply with the objectives and expectations of the Koç Group and all other relevant parties, in particular compliance with national and international environmental legislation,
• Collecting data and preparing inventory for sustainability process actions and CDP reporting processes,
• Ensuring the fulfillment and follow-up of improvements within the scope of eliminating environmental nonconformities,
• Ensuring the coordination, fulfillment and follow-up of the internal and external audits related to the environment,
• Participating in the activities of the enterprise within the scope of WAT Motor Environmental Policy, objectives and targets, to monitor the results and to report to the relevant parties
• Supporting the implementation of Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001 & ISO 14064) in accordance with procedures,
• Following and reporting compliance processes with legal and other conditions,
• Taking part in projects carried out for chemical substance management and compliance.

The position is located in Çerkezköy/Tekirdağ. Hybrid working model is available.

How we describe the perfect match?

• Senior student or Bachelor's Degree from Environment Engineering or Chemical Engineering,
• Have knowledge of the literature on greenhouse gas emissions and their effects and enjoy researching on this subject,
• Preferably took part in the project on EU directive and international legislation,
• Attend the training on ISO14001, ISO14064, ISO50001 standard
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Following and adapting the market trends and new technologies,
• Outside the box thinking ability,
• Open to innovation culture,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,
• Knowing what empathy really means,
• Being open to communication.
