Purpose : 

 

CO Business Analyst supports development of the strategy and the value creation plan with high qualitative and quantitative analysis. Responsible for delivering strategic and analytic support for CO business in the areas including analysis, planning, investment proposal, economics and projects to key stakeholders Retail Sales & Ops team, NFR Team, Retail Marketing Team, Retail Finance Team and Network Team. The incumbent is expected to contribute to the strategy formulation and decision making on the basis of through analysis of CO business.

The holder of the position will provide overview and analysis of the CO operation with key performance parameters.

Accountabilities :

Strategy & Planning:

  • Contribute to the strategy development, implementation and tracking for CO operation in Turkey.
  • Prepare short and long term projections for CO business, identify and track key levers and challenges. Provide CO sites’ projection to all related parties, including Sales& Ops, Marketing, Network, Finance, Legal and RMT. Provide short-run & long-run volume & c5 estimations for each CO site.
  • Continuously monitor the investment return per site, as well as the changing dynamics in the operation, and update the senior management as necessary. Key point to support Network and Finance Teams for new CO deals or contract renewals.
  • Business Decision Support:
  • Lead/support projects whether business model (e.g. operating platform change/RBA Multisite Project) or new opportunities driven.
  • Review and analyze key decision points. Expected to benchmark, analyse, and propose adjustments offers to ensure CO operation competitiveness in the market and aligned with the overall Retail Strategy.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests of the executive management as input to commercial matters & decisions
  • Business appraisal:
  • Provide clear and consistent business appraisal that allows timely decision making for CO business.
  • Responsible for monthly update of CO Master Data in cooperation with RBAs and stakeholders
  • Produce agreed CO KPI reports on monthly basis in cooperation with NFR Team and Business Finance (Scorecard)
  • Act as bridge in between Sales and Finance & Network for the close monitoring of CO P&L. Control and simplification of CO P&L to provide an accurate and user-friendly data to Sales Team
  • Close monitoring to CO operational costs and provide reports and insights to the business for savings
  • Responsible from the creation of key account plan of each new CO site and keeping all CO key account plans as live documents.
  • Collect required inputs from defined stakeholders and responsible from the creation of RBA performance management report on a quarter basis
  • Responsible for monthly monitoring of NFR KPIs and analyzing site based NFR campaigns
  • Provide insights from the results to the Executive management. Facilitate and organize regular business review meetings for CO performance where CEO, CFO and Retail Deputy GM are attending
  • Support preparations for the Board and RMT meetings
  • Support NFR business for benchmarking (internal/external) exercises, CVPs and trends. Provide analysis to both CO and NFR team to ensure the efficiency of NFR CVPs in place at CO operation.
  • Provide site based volume input for T&R and LE processes
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure the right Operational Excellence metrics are tracked and improved for CO operation.
  • Communicate and Provide adequate support for the business during Site Openings/Closure/RBA change.
  • Contract ownership for CO sites' insurance policy. Responsible from the accurate creation of each site's insurance policy which is performed on annual base. Act as in bridge between RBAs and the insurance company.

 

 

Aranan Nitelikler

• Preferrably Graduated from Industrial Engineering or Economics departments of top universities

• 2-4 years Business analyses or Finance experience is a plus

• Fluency in English

• Excellent use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Macros and Access)

• Proven experience of being a strong team member by working with cross functional contacts and excellent communications skills

• Ability to analyze market data and trends to make high level suggestions

• Self-motivated and willing to learn

• Having capabilities of working with senior management by preparing executive reports on business performance for internal and external organizations.

• Need to have strong experience in business analyses and analytical background

• Be able to work under pressure as it is a recurrent weekly/monthly activities that cannot be interrupted and key for the forecasting and business commitments

• Be able to lead multitask properly in timely manner by working with stakeholders

• Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and multiple parallel activities

• Experience and knowledge of Contract Management & External Stakeholder Management is a plus
