Founded in 1972 in Mersin as a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding, Çimsa is today one of the leading players in the cement industry, with its headquarters in Istanbul, integrated plants in Mersin, Eskişehir, and Afyonkarahisar, and global operations.
In addition to gray cement production, Çimsa offers innovative solutions through its specialty products such as white cement and CAC. Through its Netherlands-based subsidiary, Çimsa Building Solutions BV, the company has a strong presence in the international market with its facilities and terminals in Spain, the USA, Germany, Italy, and Ireland.
Çimsa owns the world’s only integrated plant capable of producing gray cement, white cement, and CAC simultaneously in Mersin. With Formülhane, Turkey’s first industry-approved R&D Center, and the Sabancı Technology Center at the Technical University of Munich, Çimsa continues to carry its innovation strength into the future.
