We perform various analyses that meet the sectoral needs by utilizing the NGS short reading and long reading technologies. Our interdisciplinary approach, developed through working with a diverse portfolio of institutions and fields such as Universities, R & D Centres, Healthcare Providers, Veterinary, Agriculture, Environment, and Industry qualifies us to provide authentic and targeted solutions to novel problems in any given field.
We are looking for interns who are willing to join us in our long-term internship program. The program offers an opportunity to work for various departments in our company. The interns will provide support on operations, projects, and reporting for the department they are accepted.
Our Departments:
R&D and Project Department: Support the project team in writing project proposals, participating in project meetings and presentations, and creating and implementing post-sales support strategies. Assist in maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) systems and follow up on projects and budget post-sales.
Contribute to cutting-edge research projects, experiment with innovative technologies, and assist in the development of novel solutions to advance science and technology.
Project Department Intern Responsibilities (candidates should accommodate in İzmir):
- Assist in proposal drafting and take part in project meetings / presentations,
- Support after‑sales processes, including project and budget follow‑up,
- Lead the experimental and technical design components of major projects,
- Work with the sales team on pre‑sales planning for large‑scale projects,
- Collaborate with sales at high‑end‑instrument sites to generate new projects once current ones conclude,
- Assist in designing and conducting experiments, following established protocols, and accurately recording data,
- Analyze experimental data using appropriate software and statistical methods to draw meaningful conclusions,
- Conduct literature reviews to gather relevant information and stay informed about current research developments,
- Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation safely and efficiently, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance,
- Prepare and handle biological or chemical samples as required for experiments and analysis by molecular biology techniques.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate (minimum 3rd year) or graduate student / graduate in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioengineering, or related fields,
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology and genetics,
- Ability to conduct literature searches and read/write scientific manuscripts,
- Interest in project writing processes and research & development activities,
- Preferably basic awareness of TÜBİTAK, EU projects, or similar funding mechanisms,
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Eager to learn and highly motivated in research and development processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in NGS, genomics, or kit development processes,
- Previous experience in laboratory work or project-based studies,
- Familiarity with reporting and documentation processes.
