Purpose

Ensure Proactive HSSE Culture is maintained by being actively involved in Action Plans, HSSE training seminars, Audits, Analysis of incidents / accidents actively being visible in field. Ensure RT activities are carried out according to Shell Requirements. To contribute to optimization of the Road Transport operations by collecting performance data, analysing it, and translating in recommendations for improvements

Accountabilities

• Follow-up fuels and LPG site defects liaise with retail HSSE and Sales team to fix the defects.

• Inspect RT vehicles in fuels and auto LPG fleet.

• Prepare annual haulier site visit program and conduct regular upcountry site visits.

• Inspect contractors’ facilities (Working environment, GPS data’s, taco graphs, maintenance records, maintenance costs, driver health check-up log, driver working, driving and resting hours etc.) as per site visit program and report to RT compliance manager regularly.

• Attend driver refreshment trainings.

• Perform safety walk and spot checks.

• Attend driver toolbox meetings.

• Share learnings with hauliers from high potential incidents from global reports.

• Ensure hauliers conduct driver refreshing trainings (Fatigue, defensive driving, firefighting, antiskid, rollover, health checks).

• In each site visit accident and high potential accident incidents will be analysed.

• Attend Audits, ensure findings are shared with hauliers and actions implemented.

• Meetings and social activities will be organised to improve motivation i.e. Ramadan dinner with drivers.

• Ensure driver performance is monitored via GPS and consequence management is applied.

• Ensure full compliance with ISO9001 Management Quality system and ISO27001 information security management systems.

• Monitor and analyze secondary transport costs for fuels, LPG, and Jet A1. (Fixed & Variable) Provide regular data analysis for Distribution functions - ensure data integrity through liaison with business partners and finance. Provide feedback on items for improvement.

Special Challenges

• Job requires frequent travel and felt visibility in field throughout Turkish Road Transport regions.

• Strong communication skills are essential.

• Prepared to work long hours during peak periods (festivals) to ensure minimal disruption to the business.

• This role involves liaison with internal & external parties. Therefore, effective communication with stakeholders and ability to influence effective teamwork to deliver business goals is critical.

• Fluent in Business English, written and oral

• Experience in Distribution Operations or logistics is preferable.
