I graduated from Sabancı University in 2023 with a degree in Management Sciences. For the past 1.5 years, I’ve been working as an Assistant Brand Manager for Hair Care at Henkel Consumer Brands. Joining Henkel before graduation, I’ve been inspired by visionary leaders who empower me to take initiative. I’ve had the opportunity to work on major projects and brand events, which has been incredibly rewarding. Henkel stands out for its talented team, enabling me to grow and learn about the dynamic FMCG world. Being part of a global, diverse team broadens my perspective and challenges me to contribute more. This year, I participated in the Marketing Campus in Düsseldorf, gaining valuable training and networking with Henkel employees worldwide. I started my career in the final year of my Chemical Engineering studies at Istanbul Technical University, through the Henkel Step-Up program. The experience I gained there led me to join Henkel's dynamic team, and I have now been a part of the Henkel team for nearly 3 years. Currently, I work as a Process Safety Engineer in the Safety, Health & Environment department, where I am responsible for ensuring the safe operation of processes at our Gebkim and Tuzla Adhesives Plants. I focus particularly on Process Hazard Analysis and the Explosive Atmospheres. The opportunity to work at Henkel has contributed immensely to my personal and professional growth. Hello! I am Mehmet İlker Akgöl. I was graduated from Gaziantep University as Electric & Electronical Engineer. My Henkel journey has started about 1 years ago as Sales Intern of HCB at E-COM channel. Henkel gave to me that amazing opportunity in each phases.
