Job Description

By participating in the program, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore the design, development and maintenance of large data-volume software systems
  • Learn large-scale data handling technologies (Hadoop, Apache Spark, Kafka, etc.) 
  • You will learn the following technologies: Cloud (Azure or AWS), Spark, Databricks, Kafkay, Hadoop, Airflow, Elastic, Data Flow & Pipelining, Orchestration & Scheduling

Responsibilities

  • We offer you a mentoring program with one-to-one meetings with production experts.
  • Education usually lasts about 3 months of part-time engagement. Dedicated time depends on your current level of knowledge.

Qualifications

  • English speaking level from B2 (Upper-Intermediate) and higher
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Practical experience in one of the additional languages (Java or Scala)
  • Solid knowledge of the Relational Database Management System (DBMS) theory
  • Good command of Structured Query Language (DML/DDL/DCL/TCL)
  • Theoretical knowledge of DWH/Data Lake and one of the visualization tools
  • Basic understanding of Git, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud
  • Knowledge of Software Development Methodologies

Recruitment Steps

  1. Register on our landing page: Once you fill in all the required fields, you will find the confirmation with more details in your mailbox or notifications tab.
  2. Take an English test available in your profile. You should complete it within 2 weeks after your registration and reach the B1 (Intermediate) level result to proceed.
  3. Pass a technical test. You should take it within 2 weeks by accessing the "My applications" section after logging in on our website. You need to score at least 70% to proceed.
  4. Receive an invitation to the general and technical interviews. We will send it via your profile's email right after the successful tests completion and your application review. In addition, you will get recommendations on how to prepare to the interview.
  5. Please check your profile's mailbox regularly to make sure you get all important notifications.
