L'Università del Salento è un'istituzione universitaria statale italiana di Lecce.

Fondata nel 1955 come Università degli studi di Lecce, tenne tale nome fino al 2007. Secondo ateneo di Puglia per iscritti dopo Bari - Aldo Moro, è costituita da nove dipartimenti dislocati, oltre che a Lecce, anche a Tricase, Monteroni e Brindisi.
