Dimensions

Road Transport Turkiye operates as a business unit generating an annual net positive recovery of $5-6 million. The Road Transport Manager holds full ownership and is accountable for delivering business outcomes. RT Manager owns 6 Contracts with 3 Hauliers operating under 3 different modes (1) NDOS – Lane rate, (2) NDOS - "Fixed & Varaible", (3) Mode 1. Annual contract value approx. $37mln ($260mln ACV)

 Turkiye Road Transport

• Works in 8 different geographical regions

• Carries 2.6 Mln m3 product with 3 Hauliers

• Drives more than 22 Mln kms per annum with 200 trucks and 550 drivers

• Delivers product to both VMI and Non-VMI Mobility Dealers

As the RT Integrator, you will play a crucial role in interfacing with key internal stakeholders of RT Turkey, including Mobility and Supply (Channel Optimization and Commercial Oil Operations), as well as in liaising with external stakeholders like RT Contractor schedulers, Dealers and dispatchers reg. Shell expectations and core deliverables to ensure safe, cost effective and compliant deliveries to its customers.

The RT Integrator non-VMI will report to the RT Integrator Lead and be based in country.

Where You Fit In?

As a successful candidate you’ll take charge of all aspects related to systems and processes for successful outsource scheduling day-to-day operations. You will own and drive the tools needed for stakeholder engagement, ensuring Shell expectations and core deliverables are met, i.e. safe, cost-effective, and compliant deliveries to our customers.

What is the Role?

• Role Overview:

Oversees daily operations for Non-VMI dealers, serving as the primary interface between RT Contractors and key Shell stakeholders including Mobility, Supply, Dealers, Loading Locations, and the Delivery Fulfillment team.

• Key Responsibilities:

o Stakeholder Alignment & Communication

o Coordinate and align on commercial terms and logistical feasibility with all relevant parties.

o Communicate with Non-VMI customers regarding product unavailability (e.g., during price changes) or order adjustments.

o Act as the central liaison between Dealers and Haulers, initiating direct engagement when needed.

• Operational Oversight

o Monitor RT Contractor compliance with Plan vs. Actual liftings.

o Challenge RT Contractor feedback on delivery performance and monthly demand forecasts.

o Ensure Contractor Schedulers can plan and execute deliveries via Shell systems and processes.

• Order & Delivery Management

o Support Shell Dealer order fulfillment and ensure proper scheduling and mapping in TMP.

o Address and resolve issues related to customer orders and delivery documentation.

o Respond to Dealer inquiries (target: 30 calls and 125 emails daily).

• Credit & Compliance

o Interface with Shell Credit Management to manage assurance processes for Non-VMI customers.

o Follow up on blocked sites and ensure demand is pursued through to delivery.

o Ensure legal and fiscal compliance, including communication with government agencies when required.

• Terminal & System Support

o Administer Load Support Services for driver issues with Terminal Automation Systems or supply allocations.

o Verify export of planned movement documents from SAP to loading terminals.

o Oversee manual advanced shipment notifications managed by RT Contractors.

• Exception Handling

o Review and authorize non-standard delivery requests.

o Investigate in-transit product issues and mediate disputes between customers and RT Contractors.

• Data & Platform Management

o Maintain master data in GSAP and VMI systems.

o Download and analyze data from relevant systems to generate ad hoc reports.

o Serve as the Business Focal Point for the new Transport Management Platform.

• Performance & Collaboration

o Identify and implement performance optimization opportunities across cost, efficiency, and E2E value.

o Contribute to Cluster Road Transport cost targets, value creation, and service levels in collaboration with Finance, Mobility, and Supply.

o Actively support Supply Chain Disruption and Crisis Management efforts.

SPECIAL CHALLENGE

• Road Transport Turkey implements the Transport Management Platform (TMP) to support outsourced scheduling by RT Contractors. The Road Transport Integrator is expected to proactively address any challenges that arise, with support from the global system owner and deployment teams.

• The Road Transport Integrator must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

• Workload surges to intense levels during festive seasons, price adjustment days, peak summer months, and weekends—transforming routine operations into high-pressure, fast-paced environments

• A deep understanding of local culture and customer expectations is essential. Customers in Türkiye value long-term personal relationships and prefer not to repeatedly explain their circumstances when making requests.

• The role requires a high level of skill in managing and resolving disputes constructively and professionally.

• Familiarity with regional regulations, road conditions, and traffic dynamics is critical to co-developing practical solutions with stakeholders and participating in rapid decision-making during disruptions.

• The position demands a strong commercial mindset, with a focus on delivering continuous year-on-year value improvements.

• A high degree of resilience is necessary to manage multiple concurrent topics and navigate stressful or uncertain situations, particularly during supply chain disruptions.

• A proactive, solution-oriented attitude and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to the team are key attributes.

• Willingness to travel is required, with an average travel commitment of approximately 10%.

• Being strong in delivery through others (i.e. RT Contractors) by having proven influencing skills.
