Job Description:
Purpose
• To provide product and process technological support to the Derince Grease Plant.
• To ensure that Derince Grease Manufacturing Plant is run properly to produce greases according to the Grease Quality System and other specified KPI
• To provide product and process technological support to the Derince Grease Plant.
• To ensure all packaging supply done properly& co-ordinate production teams and suppliers

Principle Accountabilities
o To provide product and process technological support to the Derince Grease Plant according to the Grease Quality System,
ISO 9000:2000 Quality Management& IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.& ISO 450001 & ISO 50001
o To ensure on time production, avoid off spec and reduce downgraded oil & grease to reach the OTIF.
o Drive Grease Quality System management for LSC Türkiye Hub
o Incumbent will report to the Regional Grease Plant Technologist EU/Afr – for pilot tests related to:
*The introduction of new products or raw materials.
* New methods of manufacturing, Repeating manufacturing problems in the plant
* Full-scale trials are coordinated as a result of the pilot tests or on a request of the Regional Grease Plant Technologist EU/Afr
* Reporting of the plant trials and the communication to involved parties organize blockin process for trials/products
* Coordinate the introduction of changes in the product catalogue and accountable for implementation of the grease quality system
* Support laboratory manager and other staff in difficult trouble shooting activities related with grease production
o Closely work with RGT and RPAMs and LSC Türkiye Lab and Quality Team
o ,Iniate studies for reliability and efficiency improvements (cost reduction)
o Perform all training requeirements to implement GQS
o Develop and maintain the manufacturing SOPs and update accordingly
o Coordinate the introduction of new manufacturing instructions and changes in existent instructions and communicate this to all staff
o Follow up of plant Right first time, Key plant performance indicators of the grease plant and the day to day plant activities related to technology & develop implementation plans.
o Develop and maintain work instructions, checklists, .. for the grease plant
o Implement and maintain of projects related to cost reduction, process conditions, best way of working.
o Develop requirements for documentation or training necessary to support process execution.
o To coordinate & manage all plant trials for new products
o Co-ordinate Automation System contractors, works on new project implementation related with automation and process improvements
o Drive energy management projects for Production Team as a Energy Management Leadership member
o Co-ordinate ISO& Quality preparation for LSC Türkiye Hub Production Team and support other teams
o Prepare monthly performance reports for Production Team
o Co-ordinate daily packing supply acitivites with suppliers and Production Supervisors and Team Leaders
o Be super-user for LSC Production Team
o Co-ordinate hi-level packaging problems with supplies and Packaging Contract Supervisor in the plant and atten BPRs track major package problems
o Iniate and drive new digitalization tools for Grease Process
o Support engineering team for new projects implementations
o Drive all internal Quality audits for LSC Türkiye HUB Production Team
o Ensure all GR process and GSAP works done accordingly and no delay in invocing process
o Co-ordinate all pack changes with Krakow Team , Suppliers and plant supervisors and Closely works with Regional Packaging team
o Resolve packaging / label problems with related stakeholders
Fully compliant with ISO9001 Management Quality system, ISO27001 Information security management systems, IATF 16949 International Automotive Task Force , TS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 10002 Complaint Handling and Customer Satisfaction Quality Management Systems, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems
o Standards/procedures/work instruction
o authority to stop production to correct quality problems
Additional Tasks:
o Internal auditor for ISO-9001/14001/16949 and GQS and perform LOD1s and SSWs
o Drive PRR process for LSC Türkiye Hub Production Team as a focal point
o Give input on request of the Grease Technical Service department
o Input in HSE related questions for the raw materials used. (Interpretation of MSDS) and have enough skills to identify risks when new production instruction or processes or set up. Participating in FMEA/HEMP-analyses.
o Coach the continuous plant changes and projects (related to technology).

-The grease technologist must understand and follow up in the plant and lab:
o The implications of ISO-9001& IATF 16949
o The implementation of GQS - manage at plant level
o The implications of ISO-14001& 45001 &50001
- He/She should have knowledge of the HSE-rules for the Derince site and motivate people to follow these rules.
o The grease technologist must have enough skills (IT/ languages /…) to communicate with the internal team and external parties.
o The position performs a liaison role between operations, grease & filling & lab, planning & Logistics department and projects.

o Analyse existing processes and ongoing projects in order to determine methods and workflow
o Increse Automation and process efficiency opportunities
o Follow up and interpretation of process parameters stable production process, with focus on cost reduction.
o Establish strong cross-functional working relationship to ensure changes are fully embedded within the organization.
o Build effective working relationships with other project leaders, other technologists of the grease team as well as with the plant staff and all involved stakeholders.
o How to minimize product working losses (off-spec products & flushing oils) while delivering a product portfolio that is continuously getting more complex (increasing # of formulations)
o How to translate tracked/reported grease manufacturing performance data into meaningful information & planned actions that would have the buy-in of the operationally responsible parties?
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required Experience Qualification
Chemical Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer with a working experience of min. 3 years at a similar position/ 10 years experience in production or Laboratory , with very good command of English
