WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As our Community Intern, you will work with our Community Lead and support the growth, engagement, and day-to-day operations of the TurkishWIN community.
TurkishWIN is dedicated to building a strong sisterhood where women can connect, learn, support one another, and grow together. This position is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community building, membership engagement, events, and communications within a dynamic and mission-driven environment. It will also help you build meaningful relationships across the TurkishWIN ecosystem.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Community Support
- You will collaborate closely with our Community Lead to support the operations and engagement of the TurkishWIN community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting membership follow-ups and helping us maintain warm, timely communication with our community members.
- Assisting with community messages, member communication flows, and engagement activities.
- Contributing to the creation and coordination of community content, including newsletters and other communication materials.
- Helping organize and track community activities, calendars, documents, and workflows.
- Supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the community and helping ensure a thoughtful member experience.
Event & Program Support
You will support our Community Lead in the coordination and execution of TurkishWIN’s events and engagement activities, including **one physical event per month and multiple online events**.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Excellent communication skills in English,
- Strong interest in community building, women’s empowerment, and member engagement,
- Experience in event support, community coordination, or communications is a plus,
- A super detail-oriented and organized personality,
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through carefully,
- A proactive, warm, and collaborative working style,
- Experience with the following tools is strongly preferred: Google Drive, Asana, Notion,
- Proven interest in TurkishWIN’s mission, Turkish culture, and women-focused communities is a plus.
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN:
This is a part-time online intern position with monetary compensation, requiring availability for 2 days per week. You will work directly with our Community Lead and the TurkishWIN Team. Through this role, you will:
- Gain practical experience in community operations, membership engagement, and communications.
- Develop skills in event coordination, newsletter support, and community management.
- Build meaningful connections within the TurkishWIN network.
