Dimensions
As the RT Integrator Team Lead for Turkiye, you will lead a team of 6 Road Transport Integrators and play a crucial role in interfacing with key internal stakeholders of RT Turkiye, including Mobility and Supply (Channel Optimization and Commercial Oil Operations), as well as in liaising with external stakeholders like RT Contractor schedulers, Dealers and dispatchers reg. Shell expectations and core deliverables to ensure safe, cost effective and compliant deliveries to its customers.
Provide coaching to the team, growing the capability level of the team.
The RT Integrator Lead will report to the Road Transport Manager Turkiye and be based in country.
Turkiye Road Transport operates as a business unit generating an annual net positive recovery of $5-6 million. The Road Transport Manager holds full ownership and is accountable for delivering business outcomes. RT Manager owns 6 Contracts with 3 Hauliers operating under 3 different modes (1) NDOS – Lane rate, (2) NDOS - "Fixed & Varaible", (3) Mode 1. Annual contract value approx. $37mln ($260mln ACV)

• Carries 2.6 Mln m3 product with 3 Hauliers
• Drives more than 22 Mln kms per annum with 200 trucks and 550 drivers

Where You Fit In?
As a successful candidate, you will be the team leader to 6 Road Transport Integrators who will need to master the interfaces with internal stakeholders of RT Turkiye (including Mobility and Supply) and external partners such as RT Contractor schedulers, Dealers and dispatchers. Your mission will be to engage and inspire the RT Integrators whilst upskilling and developing them. You will be setting the culture and expectations of a high performing team who is engaged, collaborative and has continuous improvement mindset.
What is the Role?
• Manage a team of Road Transport Integrators who manages day-to-day operational activities and provides the interface between RT Contractors and various Shell partners and stakeholders including: Mobility, Supply, Loading Locations, and Dealers. Key aspects of the role include but are not limited to:
Informing and aligning on commercial terms and feasibility of, logistical steers with all stakeholders
Monitoring compliance with Plan vs. Actual liftings with RT Contractors
Challenge feedback from RT Contractors on operational performance including delivery against Monthly demand forecast
Ensure RT Contractors maintain agreed Stockout and Working Capital levels and identify E2E improvement opportunities
• Coach, mentor, and support the Road Transport Integrator team as they act as the main focal point between RT Contractors and Shell systems and processes to ensure Contractor Schedulers can plan movements and Contractor drivers can load and deliver product on behalf of Shell.
• Support delivery of Shell ‘phoned in’ customer orders and ensure Contractor Schedulers have all the touchless orders placed in Markethub and update mapping in the TMP of RT Contractors to ship to. Manage any issues with incomplete customer orders.
• Provide interface between RT Contractors and Shell credit management, manage the credit assurance process for non-consigned VMI customers to ensure that we follow up on blocked customer sites and pursue a demand through to delivery.
• Support RT Contractors in the event of VMI system outages, providing first level trouble shooting support to RT Contractors.
• Responsible for communication of urgent order requirements from Shell to RT Contractors
• Administer Load Support Services if drivers have problems interacting with Terminal Automation Systems when loading product and any supply allocation issues.
• Check that any planned movement reference documents have been exported from SAP and received in Terminal loading locations.
• Liaise with Customer Operations, where relevant to the market, to monitor vehicle visibility and order tracking in the event of customer queries.
• Ensure any manual advanced shipment notifications are managed by the RT Contractors.
• Review and where appropriate, authorise non-standard deliveries when requested by RT Contractors.
• Investigate issues with in-transit product and agree to resolution of disputes between customers and RT Contractors
• Manage any delivery documentation requirements that must be produced from Shell as the shipper.
• Responsible for any legal and fiscal adherence if Shell must communicate with Government agencies prior to load and delivery.
• Responsible for the management of Master data held in GSAP and VMI.
• Identify areas for performance optimization and deliver improvements (E2E value opportunities as well as cost and efficiency challenges) by continuous improvement activities and stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to ambitious Cluster Road Transport cost budget, value creation, service levels working in seamless collaboration with Finance, Mobility, Products/CO and New Business Integration.
• Download data from relevant systems, analyse and generate ad hoc reports as required by Road Transport SG/MY/ID
• Act as Business Focal Point for the new Transport Management Platform, supporting RT Contractors as well as Shell Road Transport Contract management teams.
• Actively participate and contribute to Supply Chain Disruption and Crisis management when needed
SPECIAL CHALLENGE
• Transport Management Platform is being deployed in support of Outsource Scheduling by RT Contractors. Challenges might arise out of this and need to be dealt with by the new Road Transport Integrator with support from Global System owner and deploy teams.
• Road Transport Integrator needs to be capable of dealing with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders that does require excellent communication skills and leadership
• Workload surges to intense levels during festive seasons, price adjustment days, peak summer months, and weekends—transforming routine operations into high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Deliver year on year value improvements by demonstrating a strong commercial acumen
• High level of resilience needed to deal with multiple topics at same time as well as to cope with stressful and unknown situations caused by Supply Chain Disruptions
• Have a strong “can-do” mindset and bringing innovative ideas to the team
• Willingness to travel is required (on average approx. 20%)
• Being strong in delivery through others (i.e. RT Contractors) by having proven influencing skills.
