About the Role
As an Investment Operations Intern, you’ll work closely with our investment and platform team to support startup evaluations, research, and investor operations.
You’ll help analyze early-stage companies, track regional investment activity, prepare reports, and assist in the day-to-day management of helo.land’s angel network and venture programs.
This position is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about venture capital, startups, and emerging technologies, and want to gain first-hand exposure to the mechanics of early-stage investing.
What You’ll Do
- Research and analyze early-stage startups across Turkey, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East
- Support due diligence and company assessment processes
- Prepare short briefs and market reports for investors and internal meetings
- Track ecosystem data: funding rounds, investor activity, and sector trends
- Assist in managing dealflow pipelines and portfolio documentation
- Support investor communication and reporting processes
- Collaborate with marketing and tech teams to enhance data visibility and storytelling
What We’re Looking For
- University student or recent graduate (0–1 year experience)
- Preferably studying Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or Management Information Systems (but all disciplines are welcome)
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
- Strong command of English (written & spoken)
- Interest in startups, venture capital, and investment analysis
- Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets, and curious to explore tools like Notion,Trello, Airtable, Crunchbase or PitchBook
- Previous experience in a startup, VC, or finance-related project is a strong plus
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
