Job Description:
To support our strategic growth target in NFR, our foundational growth pillars are expanding Select and coffee offer footprint with new CVPs, launching new deli2go products and implementing new business models to create income from CO & DO channels.
This role is responsible for managing coffee category operations, execution of coffee business growth plan and managing customer journey in a continuous improvement mindset.
In greater detail, the CR Coffee Category Operations Manager (JG 5) will be primarily responsible for overseeing coffee category operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, this role will support the expansion of Select standalone locations and off-site footprints, ensuring effective coordination of operations for coffee offer growth
Accountability:
• Support CR Category Team Lead, CR Operations & Format & Supply Chain teams in coffee business.
• Act as a problem solver to field teams when there is interruption in coffee supply to customers due to machinery/other operational issues.
• Act to customers & dealers’ problems in an agile way, with fast response.
• Managing stocks for beans, cups, perishables, flavors with related parties & managing orders.
• Managing 3rd party logistics and warehouse operations of coffee beans, cups, perishables, flavors through service providers.
• Following waste of perishables and beans in coffee operation, generating required regular reporting to field team and CR team. Planning and taking preventive actions to ensure and run at best-in-class operational level.
• Manage suppliers with CP, related to all aspects of the coffee & deli2go business: beans, perishables, technical etc.
• Preparing and managing machinery park of coffee & ice machines and other supporting assets. Aligning on annual company and dealer machine requirements with suppliers and ensuring smooth investing process without and stock outs or delays in machine supply.
• Preparing and quarterly reporting machine pool list to category management team lead.
• Plan & execute tasting activities with suppliers for new offers and flavors. Coordinating new CVP development in line with business strategy.
• Understand ice category dynamics & trends to launch new SKUs within competition.
• Having a high level of delivery through others mindset and one team approach to execute the coffee business plans and operational improvements with the field team.
• Supporting standalone and off site Select or deli2go growth such as coffee corners or coffee island business models with best-in-class coffee operations, customer journey and CVP portfolio.
• Generating annual coffee business agenda including new offers, expansion plans, operational improvements, tendering or contracting processes, etc in line with category management growth strategy.
• Regularly searching for better cost & operation solutions, suppliers, systems with contracting and procurement team.
• Planning and contributing to annual Capex & Opex budget in line with growth strategy.
• Ensuring compliant contract management including Shell dealers’ and suppliers contracting and invoicing processes. Regularly holding BPR meetings and reporting and following up actions accordingly.
• Improve operational excellence in Select network including Carrefour business
• Further improvement of customer journey & dealer satisfaction with current suppliers.
• Understanding and supporting barista coffee serving operation for deli2go standalone & corner projects with improving machinery, recipe, serving knowledge.
• Coordinating CR Format, Field team, C&P team, Mobility Marketing team with positive approach and relationship in coffee category improvements by communicating and making delivery through others for new developments
