BAT TURKEY IS LOOKING FOR AN AREA DIGITAL MARKETING & EVENTS EXECUTIVE

LOCATION: Istanbul - Turkey
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Digital Marketing & Event Executive is part of the Digital Marketing Team. This role is in charge with drafting and executing the digital marketing & events strategy, focusing on delivering results that are in line with the brand objectives for the Area. The scope of the digital marketing & event executive lies within building a coherent and cohesive strategy, nurturing existing and new relationships, while executing, coordinating, and evaluating the active or planned digital marketing campaigns & event plans.
Reports to: Area Senior Digital Activation Manager
Reporting Level: Individual contributor
Geographic Scope: TCNA (Turkey – Caucasus – North Africa)
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Works on the social media strategy according to the brand strategy
Builds trustful partnerships on social media (thru agencies) to increase brand awareness
Constantly looks for ways to optimize the efficiency of the social media mix
Proposes the right mix of social media contents for both campaign-based and regular content
Coordinates agency to deliver on time in full all digital assets related to a social media campaign
Manages social media creative campaigns delivering the targets within the given deadlines
Supports all social media related projects and joins events
Responsible for implementing events platform, actively working with Brand teams, agencies, and external suppliers.
Come up with innovative ideas on how to develop the new category brand events to ensure that BAT achieves and maintains competitive advantage
Monitor events calendar and implements activations according to the allocated budget, brand needs and Entertainment strategy
Understand the full events market development in terms of industry and other FMCG’s events – comes with recommendation on what new opportunities are appearing on the markets or what events should be not signed anymore – low audience/ decreasing fit to the brand’s needs
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
Are you familiar with social media marketing and social media assessment tools?
Do you have any experience with event activation?
Have you worked in any role that required multiple end market management?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Experienced in social media marketing or events management
Digital Marketing experience is a plus
Experience in social media platforms (management and performance assessment tools)
Flexible and collaborative, team first mindset, proactive attitude
Ability to build winning strategies and execute them flawlessly
Understand engagement, impression and KPIs
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking paired with a solid knowledge of performance analytic tools
Passionate about digital marketing
KPIs and deliver oriented
Bachelor’s degree with a major in a relevant field
Understanding of the technology and opportunities linked to the digital platforms
Fluency in English both spoken and written
